Irene Villa is an inspiring woman who was born in Madrid, Spain. At the age of 12 years old Irene was the victim of a terrorist attack on her way to school. The ETA (a Spanish terrorist group from the Basque Country) placed a bomb under her car and she unfortunately lost both her legs, and her mother lost an arm and a leg. In the following interview (conducted in Spanish) Irene speaks about her experience, overcoming her challenges and what she’s been up to today.
