Anne Wafula Strike is a British Paralympic wheelchair racer and a powerful advocate for disability rights. Born in Kenya and diagnosed with polio at a young age, she overcame significant challenges to become the first East African woman to compete in wheelchair racing at the Paralympic level. Anne has competed internationally, representing Great Britain, and uses her platform to raise awareness about accessibility, inclusion, and the rights of people with disabilities. Her resilience and determination continue to inspire many both on and off the track.
