every sickening couple,
with their puppy dog eyes
and cards with the words “I
Love you forever more”.
and their long, sweet
sickening hugs
and declarations
Of desire and want.
with their adorable smiles
and childlike nerves,
giggling in their
Own world of romance.
they’re in their own novel
written by the likes of Jane Austen,
where one can be won over by
Roses in abundance.
the others stand and stare
with a dash of jealousy
and happiness boiling over,
onto the tiled floor.
