High in the mountaintops, Aiglon college was the location for the first major basketball tournament of this semester. 11 teams were present and split into 2 groups; A and B. Group A contained the likes of CDL, Haut-Lac and Nations whilst Group B held the likes of LGB, Le Rosey and, of course, La Chat. Here’s exactly what went down.
Format of Tournament
- You play all the teams in your group, hence you play 4 or 5 games, depending on whether you were in group A or B.
- The top 2 teams in each group advance to the ‘playoffs’ to play in the semifinals.
- The best team from group A plays the 2nd best team from group B and vice versa.
- The winners play in the final.
- The losers of the semifinals play for 3rd place.
- The winners of the semifinals play for 1st and 2nd place.
