IB economics legend ‘Master’ Nicholas Bates was the first to be interviewed by Antonio Perez in our new Castaway Beats series. In this series we will be asking people which one song they would take if they were to be stuck on a desert island. Not only known for his great teaching, storytelling and accents, Bates is also prone to spontaneous outbursts of song as you will hear in interview. Mr Bates has been an economics teacher at Ecolint for the past 28 years and will, unfortunately for us, be retiring to his new place in Spain at the end of this year.
