Kamila Shamsie is an author of five novels, including Burnt Shadows which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction, and has been translated into over 20 languages. Her latest novel Home Fire recently won the prestigious Women’s Prize for Fiction. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. She grew up in Karachi and now lives in London.
