WALKING WITH DINOSAURS, 19th to 23rd September
This extraordinary computer animatronic performance features not just dinosaurs but the splitting for the earth’s continents, volcanoes erupting, forests catching fire. Nine species, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, with movements so natural you’d think they’re real. Not to be missed!

HUMAN FLOW, 21 September, 18:00
A film for our time by the director and artist Ai Weiwei is screening on the International Day of Peace at LGB’s Centre des Arts. Human Flow “is an artistic, factual, visual expression” of the refugee crisis in Europe.

LG TRAIL , (Lausanne to Geneva hike) 21st to 22nd September
Not for the faint hearted, the countdown is on for LG Trail’s second adventure. The total trek is 110 kilometers and departs from Lausanne before dawn, detailed schedules and extra information can be found on the website. #ReadyToTrail.

CARMEN – CLASSICAL MUSIC/ OPERA , Until Thursday 27th September
The classic tale of Don José who falls in love with the fiery gypsy Carmen and loses everything. Said to be the most popular opera ever written with some of the most well known tunes. Now performing at the Opéra des Nations.

The Musée d’Art et d’Histoire is offering an avant-garde, unorthodox mix of Renaissance classics with digital technology, in the form of photographs and immersive
video, creating “real, animated contemporary frescoes”.
EXIL – NEW TEMPORARY EXHIBITION WITH MAGNUM PHOTOS, Until 25th of November
The Red Cross Museum is currently holding the exhibition EXIL; a visual record of the terrifying journey made by so many, leaving homeland, family and friends. Rather than on display, visitors are allowed to handle the photographs, increasing the intimacy and connection with their stories.
LA COLLECTION BEAUX-ARTS REVISITÉE, A re-hanging of the permanent collection – ongoing.
