On the evenings of Fridays the 27th and of January the 3rd of February, year 12 students Maya and Cléo are organizing two fun-filled hours of activities, experiments and snacks for girls in years 7 and 8 interested in science! These sessions will run from 15:15 to 17:00 in the science department, and will be limited to about 15 girls, so first come, first served!
We hope to fuel your interest in science, as well as tell you a little bit about the women who have played important roles in these fields. Most of all, we hope to make this an exciting and fun experience for you and your friends!
To give you an idea of what this evening will consist of, we will be doing a range of activities and fun experiments based on biology, chemistry and physics, as well as looking at their practical applications. Feel free to apply with friends, as we’ll be doing competitions in teams!!
