a delightful spring poem by Camille Cigognini (Y8) from our Junior Update!
.
Bushes bristle in the wind
Flowers shimmer in the sun
Butterflies twirl in the air
Millions of daisies like soldiers in the army
Trees rising above in the air
Clouds nowhere to be seen
Tulips every color you can imagine
Red, yellow, blue and even pink
Mountains long in the distance
Birds eating crumbs from lunch
The river that never sits still
Buttercups shining under your chin
Family of ants going home
Flags swaying and swishing
The wind with a mind of its own
Frogs with a never-ending voice
.
Badgers hiding in the forest
Squirrels climbing up a tree
Birds of every kind
Geese flying in a flock
Vultures turning in circles
Beautiful poems everywhere you look
Here’s one in the tree
And one on the ground, and their on the walls
This is a paradise of nature.
