Many thanks to South-Sudanese-Canadian activist, musician and actor Emmanuel Jal for visiting our school on 30/10/2024 to talk about his experiences.
Emmanuel Jal is a former child soldier from the South Sudan turned hip-hop sensation, international recording artist, activist and philanthropist. Jal spreads his message of reconciliation worldwide, using his music and advocacy to teach that peace begins from within.
