In recent months, article publication on the Update has shot up astoundingly, thanks to some excellent Editor-in-Chiefing, if we do say so ourselves. This is brilliant, for the La Chât community (as people in dire need of good journalism) as well as for us (as people in dire need of CAS experiences). Take a moment now, please, to send some appreciation to the writers of the Update!

But with more articles comes more emails in your inbox. We’ve noticed how publishing everything on a Friday may mean more consistency with our publishing, but we’re also cognizant of every other platform that spams you every day—by, which, I mean ManageBac.
And so, as of next half-term, we’ve changed our publishing schedule slightly. Instead of everything coming out on a Friday, articles will be staggered throughout the week, with a different column (or two) every day. This way, you can tune in every Monday, perhaps, for some polemic features, or wait excitedly until Wednesday, to see what’s been brewing in the Critics Corner that week.
For reference, here is our schedule:
| DAY | COLUMN(S) |
| Monday | Features | Global News |
| Tuesday | Campus Life | Local News |
| Wednesday | Critics Corner |
| Thursday | Miscellaneous | Little Chestnuts |
| Friday | Humor & Entertainment | Under the Night Sky |
As always, we welcome feedback on what you think of the new system and what you’d like to see from us! We thought the heads-up might be nice so that you wouldn’t be checking your email on March 6th, wondering where we all disappeared off to…
Happy holidays — and see you in March!
