Dear friend,
I am writing to you from the icy cabins of Norway, underneath the beautiful colors of the northern lights. My family and I are staying in a charming, old-fashioned chalet in the woods. Snow lines the roof of our hut, and when the aurora borealis chooses to shine on us again, the snow reflects the bright lights, bathing the forest in an ethereal, glowing ambiance.
I wish you could come with me! The sights, the smells, the sounds! Why, last night I heard the eerie sound of a wolf howling! For dinner, we had fiskesuppe with raspeballer, which, in English, translates to creamy fish soup with potato dumplings. My goodness, it was the best food I’d had in years! You’d have loved it, believe me!Even though you can’t be here, I swear you would fall in love with this place.
You’d love it here. I have to go now, but I’ll see you soon!
xoxo,
Sufi
