Ever found yourself standing in the snack bar queue, starving after double maths, and having no clue what to get?
We’ve all been there. The snack bar is basically the best place in the school.
But what is actually the best thing to buy? To settle the debate once and for all, I sent out a form to everyone in Years 7, 8, and 9 to see which snacks are the best and which ones are just… meh.
I got loads of responses, here is the official top 10 list of the best snacks at our school, voted by you.
10th : Croissant – 3 votes
A classic, albeit a bit boring.

9th : Sandwiches – 4 votes
Savoury and solemn. Some of the worst affected victims of shrinkflation.

8th : Mochi – 7 votes
Chewy and cold.

7th : Pretzels and Oreo Doughnuts – 9 votes
Doughnut sleep on these bad boys.

6th : Pain au chocolate and Brownies – 10 votes
Two powerhouses, less popular with the youth.

5th : Cakes – 17 votes
You can purchase cake at the snackbar, and eat it too.

4th : Oreo cupcakes – 21 votes
Arguably this falls under the umberlla of a muffin, but whatever.

3rd : Sausage rolls – 29 votes
Yum yum, mystery meat.

2nd : Cinnamon rolls – 59 votes
A new one, but a popular one.

1st : Cookies – 142 votes
GOAT. Nuff said.

I hope this helped, and so you know what snack to choose next time you’re starving!
