David Johnson on Liverpool’s Chances, Being a Role Model and Playing for England

Last week, the Update interviewed David Johnson, an English footballer who played for the English National Team, Liverpool, Everton and Ipswich.  Among many accomplishments, including winning the European Champion Clubs’ Cup three times and the UEFA Super Cup once, he was a respected and valuable player in each club he played for.  Nicknamed “Doc”, Johnson would go on to score over 100 goals in total throughout his 20 year career.  Now retired, he hosts in the Anfield corporate lounges, and presents regularly on BBC Radio Merseyside summarising matches, while also frequently starring on their Red Alert programme  with his segment known as “The Doc’s Diagnosis”.
