Last Friday The Update was fortunate enough to interview Marion Deichmann, a survivor of Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.
She born a few weeks before Hitler came to power to a German-Jewish family who would never have imagined that Europe would capitulate to Nazism. Her book “Her Name Shall Remain Unforgotten, A Child in The Heart of The Genocide” is dedicated to her mother, Alice Deichmann, who was killed in Auschwitz concentration camp.
Marion spoke with us about her memories of her childhood, of her mother, and concerns about the rise of far-right politics across the world.
