The Amazing Potential of Carbon Capture | Tristan Lebleu from Climeworks

Many thanks to Tristan Lebleu for joining us here at La Chât on 27/01/25 to speak of your inspiring experiences in the realm of carbon capture technology, working for one of the leading pioneers in the field – Climeworks.

Tristan Lebleu is External Engagement Lead at Climeworks, a Swiss company specialising in carbon dioxide removal technology. Its direct air capture (DAC) process captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere, combating climate change by reducing greenhouse gas concentrations. The captured CO₂ is either permanently stored underground or reused for products like fuels and beverages. The company operates one of the world’s largest DAC plants in Iceland, which captures and stores thousands of tonnes of CO₂ annually.
