Alexander Kirk is a Campaigns Advisor at Global Witness. Founded in 1993, Global Witness is an international non-governmental organisation that campaigns against environmental and human rights abuses linked to natural resource exploitation. Based in London, the organisation works to expose corruption, environmental destruction, and corporate misconduct while advocating for systemic change to promote justice and sustainability. Global Witness has been instrumental in shedding light on illegal logging, conflict minerals, and the role of fossil fuel industries in climate change. The NGO collaborates with governments, civil society, and international institutions to drive accountability and transparency in industries affecting the environment and vulnerable communities.
